Redwood lumber is the market name for products coming from the Sequoia genus. There are three common types of redwood species, the Coast Redwood, the Sierra Redwood, and the Dawn Redwood. Redwood Trees
Redwood trees are also called Coast Redwood. There's an area approximately 500 miles long and 20 to 30 miles wide along the California coast where many redwood trees grow.
